Beliefs & Interests
I have a passion for helping individuals overcome life’s challenges by attempting to impart the skills necessary to increase overall wellbeing. My therapeutic approach is holistic, which means physical and spiritual health is a huge component in helping individuals feel whole. I attempt therapeutic approaches that are integrative and solution-based on each client’s specific needs. I have experience with symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, behavior development, anger management, stress, and low self-esteem.
Throughout my career I have worked with youth and family services, veterans with P.T.S.D, school-age youth, women programs, teens, and adults with substance addiction or mental health diagnoses in a variety of settings. Some of those settings were in community outreach, public schools, D.J.J., outpatient day programs, IOP, and PHP.

There is no cookie-cutter solution to healing. I believe no matter how strong an individual may feel they are, there is always a need to seek help for the things that become unmanageable. Seeking wellness does not make them weak but rather; it demonstrates the commitment they have to themselves and the innate ability to gain the quality of life they deserve.
